COURTESY ANNOUNCEMENT Carolyn Allen Kellum 78, a native of Beaufort, SC, widow of Daniel Kellum, Jr., died Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation: Saturday, July 19, 2025, 10 AM to 12 Noon at Joshua Tabernacle Baptist Church, 426 So. 15th St., Louisville, KY 40203. Funeral Services to follow at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY 40216. Mrs. Kellum was the daughter of the late Frank Arthur Allen, Sr. and Clara Samuels Allen. She was a graduate of Robert Smalls High School. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel "Scooter" Kellum, II, brothers, Frank Arthur Allen, Jr. and Curtis Allen. She is survived by her siblings, Joyce V. Allen Gilbert of Beaufort, SC and Michael V. Allen (Kathy), Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Jessica Randle, Briana Gosnell (Christopher) and Destiny Kellum; great-grandchildren: A'Darion Johnson, A'Riyana Stafford, Airiean Gosnell, Aspyn Gosnell; a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends in Kentucky and South Carolina.
