Carol Davis Obituary

Carol Ann Hartman Davis, Carol Ann, Mama Carol, Gran Carol of Pawleys Island, 73, passed away peacefully December 28, 2017 after a brief illness in Georgetown, SC.

Carol was born May 15, 1944 to Marietta Starke and James Wilbur Hartman in Mobile, AL. Carol was the youngest of three children, older brother James and older sister Marietta.

Carol thoroughly enjoyed people and touched as many as one can in her time with us. If you

knew Carol, you were eternally blessed with good feelings from this incredible woman! The mold was broken when this angel fell from heaven. It should be seen as a greater call to live up to this woman's ability to touch people's lives.

Carol Attended the University of Alabama where she received a Masters degree. She operated the Audiological practice, Sound Advice, within the ENT practice, Waccamaw Surgical Associates, of Dr. Terry Fry in Georgetown, SC. Karen Perry, office administrator, and Terry felt a certain family feeling with Carol in the office. Carol started a hearing conservation program for the Georgetown County School District.

Carol was survived by two sons, Christian and Shepherd, as well as six grandchildren. Jonathan, Elizabeth Parker, Elizabeth, Sophia, Sloane and Connor.
