William Tucker Obituary

TUCKER, William William "Skeater" Andrew Tucker, 68, of Summerville, husband of Sherry D. Tucker died Thursday morning, March 26, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 3 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, PO Box 50820, Summerville, SC 29485. Skeater was born November 13, 1940 in Summerville, son of the late Lawless Barnwell Tucker and Maude Sweat Tucker. He attended North Charleston schools. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an electrician with Charleston County and a member of Ladson Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters and one son, Deborah Blanton and Barbara Pender both of Summerville, Cissy Webb and her husband Michael of Anderson, SC and William Andrew Tucker, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Summerville; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sister, Lawless Barnwell and his wife Mildred of Summerville, Julian Ripon and his wife Katherine of Summerville, Phronie Kelly and her husband Gerald of Bethera, SC.
