To the family of Dr. McDonald:
My mother, Wilma McGarity, and I were very sorry to learn of Dr. MacDonald`s passing, and yet we rejoice that he is home with Jesus. We knew Dr. MacDonald (and his lovely wife) these last few years while he lived at Franke at Seaside. We enjoyed seeing him with his wife and know that he missed her in these recent months. And yet he was always a gracious presence in the Franke community. When I visited my mother at Franke, I enjoyed meeting his daughter who would come to take her parents on outings...always such a cheerful family...you will ALL be missed there.
On one occasion I was able to attend one of Dr. MacDonald´s Bible studies on the seven I Am `s of Christ, and was impressed by his obvious love for our Lord so beautifully reflected in his graciousness as he cared for other people and their spiritual needs.
Dr. McDonald was an inspiration to me so I can only imagine there must be countless other lives he has impacted through his many years of faithful ministry. May God tenderly comfort you as you grieve again. Your parents have left you a beautiful and godly legacy.
With love and gratitude,
Catherine Broom

Dr. McDonald was a pleasure to know at Franke at Seaside. Every evening after dinner he would get coffee and we would talk and sometimes even sing together. We just celebrated his birthday together! I will so miss seeing him!!

Bill and Joyce McDonald have been a huge part of my life for over 40 years. They were there to help anyone that needed him at anytime. I recall when I lost my mother back in August of 1988, he was on vacation but came back to be with my family. Praise God for sending Dr. William McDonald to begin a church family at The Cathedral Community Church.
He may be gone but Never Forgotten to all who knew him.
