Victor Rodriguez Obituary

I was so shocked to hear about Victor last night. I am sorry, Diane. I saw your tears and I felt my own welling up. Even though I did not know him well, I did sense that he had an incredibly kind heart. In fact, he is very strong in my memory for being just that. I am happy for you that you were the wife of a great man and now have a wonderful family. I am so sorry for the loss. May God bless you and your family.

Rodriguez family, I cannot imagine the pain of this loss for you all. There will certainly be a Victor-sized hole felt in the world for a long time as he was and continues to be loved by so many. I think of Victor often and his kind soul and forgiving heart. I wouldn't be here without him and Diane. I'm sending you all peace, comfort and prayer.

Diane & family- I am devastated to learn about Victor´s passing. He was one of my first introductions to Charleston´s genteel kindness! He treated everyone like they were special and led with quiet authority.

I'm truly sorry to hear of Victor's passing. He was a kind and generous friend. I spent many fun hours on the tennis court with him. He will be sorely missed by all of his tennis friends. May he rest in peace.

I am so very sorry to hear of Victor's death. He was a bright light at the Salon-always so warm and fun. He was a great person. My husband decided to retire with Covid happening which led to us moving away. I miss Visage and the wonderful people there. My prayers are with Diane and the family.

Dear Diane and Family,
My husband and I have know you and Victor for 18 years. He was the gentlest of men. I am in utter shock that he has passed and the tears continue to flow as I am writing this. He will be missed not only for his talent as a hairdresser and stylist but as a friend. I am so sorry that we did not know he was ill. So sorry to hear about Victor. Colleen and I are shocked and saddened. We wish you and your family peace and comfort during this difficult time. Victor was a special person, a gentle soul. He was also a superb stylist and I always looked forward to discussing cars with him. It was more than worth the drive from Beaufort. He will be missed by many, especially me and Colleen.

Victor was a great man all around. His community loved him tremendously and he will forever be missed. I love you, Vic! I'll keep your memory alive. Until we meet again

When I think of Victor, one word comes to mind. Kindness. He was one of the most thoughtful, endearing men I've ever known. I remember the morning that my daughter, Ashley, got married over 10 years ago. The entire wedding party showed up at Visage at 8 am and was welcomed by Victor, Diane and the whole staff. Victor led me by my arm towards his chair and said, "the mother of the bride goes first." Talk about making someone feel so special. But, that was Victor. Victor- thank you for everything-you are a man marked by radical kindness and exceptional goodness. I will never forget that.
Diane, darling; you made Victor's dreams come true. All of them and then some.
