Thomas Quinton Obituary

Thomas Quinton SUMMERVILLE - Thomas Guy Quinton, 90, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on October 29, 2025. Born January 14, 1935, in Great Falls, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Neily Quinton and Amy Baker Quinton. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for over 21 years, dedicating his life to service and country. After his military career, he retired from Cummins Motor Company. He was married to the late Judith Quinton for 47 years. A devoted member and Deacon of Lydia Baptist Church, Tom loved the outdoors, caring for his yard, golfing, and reading about old westerns. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran who cherished God, family, and country. He is survived by his children, Tammie Springfield, Lisa Cousins (Dean), and Marci Quinton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jayne Moss. He was predeceased by his wife, parents, seven siblings, and son-in-law, Tim Springfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM, in the Chapel of James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main St., Summerville, SC. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston, SC.
