As a broker working hand in hand with Chubb and CNA, I had the opportunity to get to know Tom. Our business relationship turned into a friendship. Tom was a wonderful mentor. His genuine, thoughtful nature and perspectives on life were invaluable. Tom, thank you for all you have done for me. I love and miss you!

I was blessed to have been a part of the same Christian community as Tom and Christine, St. Bartholomew´s Church in Ho-ho-kus, NJ. Tom and Christine on two occasions I remember-perhaps more-to open their home for the parish Christmas open house. After my ordination, I served a church as rector in NJ and the head of the search committee worked at Chubb, and when I told him that I knew Tom from St. Bart´s he said, "You know Tom Motamed?" as if I told him I knew The Beatles! You certainly made an impact for good, Tom. Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory!

Our deepest sympathies to Chris and all of Tom's family on his passing. It was our pleasure to have known him over the last 16 years.
All of us at WSCB will cherish our memories in working with Tom and consider ourselves privileged to have been able to serve him and Chris on many projects over the years - Chance, Steve, Elmer and all at WSCB.

Tom,
He was my favorite customer, not because he was always buying for a new house project, but because he was kind and made me feel like I was the talent. But it was he, a keen eye for great taste and style. He was humble and complimentary of the things I sold in my shop. Always making sure Chris approved of his purchases-a true gentleman. The world lost a great man. He will be sorely lost and Never forgotten!

A wonderful man who´s love and compassion stretched worldwide. His family and Deacon meant everything to him. His loss cuts deep with sadness whilst memories of him will always make you smile. So much love..... Sue and the late Bruce Thomas.

All my sympathies. Tom was a true and genuine person. I worked for Tom from the onset of my career for the next 18 years. Even helped train Meredith as an intern. He always joked with me that I was the only one that actually made sure she learned something rather then do her an injustice by trying to gain favor with him. Tom was one of only a few that I've highly respected over the years as a boss, mentor and friend. The world has lost a great person but heaven has gained an even greater person!

it´s si sad to hear of Tom´s passing. I was the HR Manager in Chubb´s Westchester office when he was the Branch Manager. He was a great boss. Not only was he brilliant but he was funny, kind and compassionate. He truly was the best boss I ever had. To Tom´s family, please accept my sincere condolences. His family was very important to him.
