Bartow Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Thomas Floyd McClure Jr. of Lake Wales passed away peacefully Saturday, November 29, 2008 with his family present.
Born August 27, 1932 in Tampa; he was a lifelong resident of Lake Wales, FL. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Bartow Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, attended the Refuge Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Lake Wales Masonic Lodge #242, a Shriner and the Eastern Star. He also enjoyed hunting and carpentry.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas F. McClure III and Manley Scott McClure both of Lake Wales; daughter, Jewell Elizabeth Jane McClure (Mixon) of Lake Wales; sister, Betty Jean Bennett of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Thomas Jason McClure, Melissa Holsonback, Samara Palmer, Tara Simmons, Crystella Velazquez, Michael Dorsey, Justice Mixon, Morgan McClure and Matthew McClure; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2008 with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Scott Britt officiating. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
