Thomas Jefferson Johnson CHARLESTON - Thomas "Jeff" Jefferson Johnson, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Mary Jane Johnson, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 17, 2012. A funeral service will be held at J.HENRY STUHR, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 4:00 pm, and a committal service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 20, 2012 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Conway, SC. Thomas was born August 21, 1935 in Aynor, South Carolina, the son of the late Thomas J. Johnson and the late Zera J. Johnson. He was a Shipping Clerk at Sears and Roebuck, Co. until 1977. He had a passion for singing and bowling. He is survived by his son, Kim Jefferson Johnson (Tina), daughter, Daphne Johnson Rice (Ben) of Charleston, SC, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Thera J. Williams, and Parneice J. Fredrickson, and two brothers, S.C. Johnson, and Mark Johnson. Flowers will be accepted.
