Thomas Grace Obituary

I have nothing but fond memories of the few years Tom and I worked together both in uniform and during the infamous "two guys with a bucket" days. My heartfelt condolences to all others who loved and miss him.

Jennifer, I love you and your family and I will pray for you! You both were great friends and I had a great time in Okinawa with you all. I am grateful to have known Tom and I am lucky I had friends like you. We were there for each other when in need and I just want you to know that if you need anything I am still here for you.

Thomas "Doc" Grace was my brother and my best friend. We were stationed together at Osan, Korea from 1995-96. We used to joke that we were like Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday. He of course was Doc, because he was a crazy nut. We were truly brothers. He carried me when I needed carrying, and I carried him when he needed carrying. I love you DOC!

Our condolences to the Grace family especially Jennifer, Macy and Noah. we had good times together and Tom will not be forgotten!

I am heartbroken after hearing the news. He was just here in my backyard smiling and laughing. My heart goes out to you Jen, Macy and Noah. We enjoyed every fun night we had with you guys. RIP Tom.

My heart is heavy as I've learned of Tom's passing. It seems only a few years ago that I talked to the boys about getting their licenses and adding them on to your insurance. In fact, you are more my family, than my friends, let alone just a client in my agency. I love each of you and pray that your hearts feel the love and prayers going out for you. Be proud of Tom Jr. as he has served and died for our country, following in the footsteps of your family.

Please know that I am here for you. Martha and I think so much of all of you and are here whenever you need us.

I will always remember playing basketball with him in my driveway when you two first were married. I'd never seen you look so happy Jennifer and he made things so happy for you. He will never be forgotten and his smile will always appear on the face of your children. Those smiles along with your friends and family will get you through. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I am truly saddened by this loss. I was fortunate to have worked with Tom during his first tour in Korea and subsequent assignment to Charleston. He appreciated all those he worked with and with one particular statement provided me with the proudest memory of my 22 year Air Force career. My prayers to his family and all those who were blessed to have known him.

I will never forget that I was having a bad day, we had never met before but you took the time to make me laugh. I looked down at that name tape and never forgot you from that day forward. So glad to have met you, talked to you until it was time for me to leave Okinawa. You are a true gem and will be missed. May God continue to bless your family.

To the entire Grace family,
I am so, so sorry for your loss and words seem so inadequate. TSgt Grace was a prominent member of our unit out here in Okinawa and his huge beaming grin and the glimmer in his eye could light up a room. On behalf of the the other airmen at the 353 SOSS that his life touched, I offer our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tom is the best supervisor I have ever had and will be greatly missed. Be at peace, Tom. Lord watch over and comfort his family.

Jen, Macy, Noah and the whole Grace family; thank you for making us all better by sharing Tom with us. He was the most abraisive, biggest hearted friend I've ever had. He will be truly missed.

Go with god my friend.....I will miss you. There is a huge void with the "Chucktown NASCAR Fellas" circle. Save me a spot next to u my friend, I still have to have a place for my Mark Martin flag.

My condolences go out to the family of Sgt Grace. I was stationed with Grace at Charleston AFB almost 14 years ago. He was a great guy and a great friend for a new Airman just starting his career. He was a great mentor and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
