My father, the salty ole Captain; very opinionated, never wrong, a wee bit stubborn, but dearly loved nonetheless. We're glad you're no longer suffering and at peace with Our Eternal Father in Heaven. Dad, as you knew, in the military the salute is ultimate sign of respect. Well sailor, this Marine salutes you. Fair winds and following seas, Dad. We love you and we will miss you. Jim, Susan, Sean, and Brian.

My childhood visits with my cousins are of positive emotional memories about the Devereaux family. Uncle Tom is a pleasant remembrance and a cherished one.

My memories are of visiting my cousins and Uncle Tom and Aunt Lucilee in Newburgh were a long time ago, but not so distant and faint that I can't recall them with feelings of adventure and a sense of family. May peace be with my Uncle Tom and his family.
