Dear Swift,Jr., Susanne, John,& MaryAnne
Just read the news about your Mother. She was indeed a lady of many accomplish-
ments and uniquely complimented your
Father, Dr. Swift, Sr. who was my
family doctor from beginning to re-
tirement. Dr. Susanne blessed many
livs and enriched both places of
residency. Proverbs 31:8-31 comes to
mind. May your memories be sweet and God's blessings continue upon each of
you. May He lift you up during these
days. Love and prayers,

Mary Anne: I was sorry to read about your mother in the Post and Courier, I still own the house at 500 E. Jefferson across the playground from where your family use to live. I recall your mother and I going to a Dillion City Council Meeting to prevent the tennis court on the playground being changed radically. Your Mother did a excellent job of educating the Council Members on the correct dimensions. She did a wonderful job of presenting our case. I also remeber her stopping to give me a ride to school when I wa walking and we always had such pleasant conversations. I also recall that my grandmother fondly remembered your grandmother who had lived at one time on Roosevelt. It has been a long time since I had you in one of my classes at Dillion High School.

Kind regards, Roy Williams
