Susan DeVane Adams
Charleston - With great sadness, the family of Susan DeVane Adams shares that she passed away surrounded by love. Susan loved her family deeply and found great joy in the people God placed in her life, along with the companionship of her beloved dog, Livie. She devoted herself to her family and quietly served her community alongside her husband, Frank Eugene Adams, during his years as a firefighter. Together, they later retired to a small waterfront community where simple moments were cherished.
Susan valued relationships deeply and remained close to lifelong friends, finding joy in staying connected with those who mattered most.
Susan was reunited in heaven with her husband and best friend, Frank Eugene Adams, and her beloved daughter, Melissa Adams Limbaker. She is survived by her daughters and their families: Tammy Adams Miller (Lawrence), children Lawrence Edwin Miller (Jade) and Andrew Justin Miller (Saranne); Robyn Adams Howell-McKnight (Paul), children Austin Kenneth Howell and Bennett Evans McKnight; her granddaughters, Cadie Michelle Limbaker (Salvatore) and Caroline Madison Limbaker (Jaden), daughters of Melissa. She was also a proud and loving great-grandmother to Lillian Elise Miller.
The family will hold a private celebration in the future.
