Steven Culver Obituary

Steven B Culver, 58 died unexpectedly September 4th, 2025 at his home. He was born June 21st, 1967 in Charleston SC, the son of Oliver Paul Culver Jr. and Sandra Culver Hammerstedt. Steven was a Journeyman Lineman and was previously employed with multiple power companies throughout his career. In his recent career path which he loved, he was managing a Plantation in the Charleston area. Steven was an avid outdoorsman and his passions included fishing and boating, hunting, metal detecting, fossil and relic hunting, riding his motorcycle, and telling jokes. Steven was predeceased by his Father, Oliver Paul Culver Jr.; his Step Father Mark W. Hammerstedt, and his Grandparents. Surviving in addition to his Mother, Sandra Culver Hammerstedt of Mt. Pleasant SC. Daughter, Olivia Paige Culver of Summerville SC. Son, Ethan Chase Culver of Summerville SC. Brother, Dr. Paul (Tracey) Culver III of Summerville SC. Brother, Jason (Kelly) Culver of Walterboro SC. Niece, Nephews, Cousins, and numerous Friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held from 12pm to 3pm Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at James A Dyal Funeral Home at 303 South Main Street, Summerville SC 29483. To be followed by a private interment.
