Steven Borke Obituary

BORKE, Steven Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of March 6, 2006, Steven Francis Borke. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens Saturday, March 11, 2006 at one o'clock. Mr. Borke was born October 1, 1952 in Charleston, SC, the son of Norbert John Borke and Jewel McNab Borke. He was a graduate of First Baptist Church School and attended The College of Charleston. He was a member of The First Baptist Church. For two years, Mr. Borke was the Poster Child for The March of Dimes. Steve was a joy to everyone who had the pleasure to be around him and he will be missed. He is survived by two brothers: Norbert J. Jeff Borke, Jr. and his wife Kay of Greenville, SC and Michael F. Borke of Charleston, SC; one nephew: Norbert Jason Borke and his wife Christina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trident Head Injury Support Group, 975 Savannah Highway, Suite G, Charleston, SC 29407 or The March of Dimes Foundation, 1064 Gardner Road, Suite #114, Charleston, SC 29407. the first time i met steven it was at the dissabilty board and i new that we would be good friends and i no i will miss him and he will be in my heart for life i will miss you my friend
