I was proud to know Stephen as a friend and sponsor at the Elks and transported him many times over the years to the VA as a DAV driver. I will miss his gentle manner and humor. RIP my friend.

RIP Steve. I know it was a tough last few years. You fought hard and most of all you stayed true to the Shaggy we all knew and loved. A friend in need is a friend indeed. You were a true Summerville character adding color and companionship wherever you went. A true original. My life is richer to have known you. So long old buddy.

Dear Family and Friends of Stephen! Please accept our heartfelt expression of condolence and sympathy on the passing of Stephen. May he rest in peace. May the Grace and Eternal Light of Our Lord Jesus Christ forever shine upon him. I have only known Stephen a short time but enjoyed the time we spent together at the Summerville Elks Lodge. I was privileged to be his escort during his initiation ceremony into the ELKS. Please feel free to contact the Summerville Elks if we can do anything for the family. Fraternally yours Joel R. Larkin
