We were neighbors with the Botzis. Shirley was always so great with our two daughters.willing to play games and do fun stuff with them. She would take them to her house and find fun things to keep them entertained.

Shirley worked for my parents at Carolina Travel for many years. She was part of the work family my parents built over the years. I was very blessed to see Shirley (she came and found me in my seat) at the MUSC graduation this past May. Her grandson was in my son's (Luke) class. She was as I always remembered ... full of smiles, hugs and laughter.

I pray she rests in peace and that her family knows how deeply she was loved by so many.

I'm am sadden to learn of Shirley's passing. I got to know Shirley in the 1970's when she helped me arrange senior class trips for Garrett High School. She then became my personal travel agent and helped me plan many wonderful trips. She ALWAYS had a smile on her face and was so pleasant to work with. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to her family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We were saddened to hear of Shirley´s passing. She and Pete were fun neighbors. I´ll never forget that big blow up Easter bunny she had that my girls just loved every year we lived there. She loved chatting with them. Shirley was always the-glass-is-half-full kind of a gal. I know she will be missed. Condolences to you two, Micheal and David.
We now live in Atlanta.

My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to the Botzis family and friends. Such a beautiful, beautiful lady inside and out. I only knew her for a few years, but the short time I knew her ( I knew her as Aunt Shirley through Henry Keil) she was always so kind and graceful and showed so much love and kindness and it just poured out
onto others. God Bless and Rest in Peace Ms. Botzis.

Shirley was light and love to me growing up, and then to my husband, Melvin, after they met when she helped us book our first cruise. We both loved her dearly and will miss her very much. We pray the family may find comfort in the memories and that God's love will give you all strength during this difficult time.

Shirley was both a colleague and a friend. Always in a good mood, positive and very professional. She taught me alot. She really had a way with people and everyone loved her. She was laughing all the time- that was Shirley.

Shirley was such a wonderful friend. We got to know her through her travel agent career. She planned so many travels for us through the years, beginning with cruises, even trips including her sons and our son when they were in high school. I'll never forget one of our cruises when upon arriving and boarding the ship, there were Shirley and Pete on the same cruise, surprising us by being on the same trip. She was phenomenal in arranging things for us, including several upgrades in our accommodations, again as surprises. We have missed her in the last several years, as well as our opportunities for travel. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family. God bless you all. Carolyn and John Niblock

Greg and I are so sorry to hear about Shirley. I was going by to visit on Thursday when I received word that she could not have visitors. Shirley was a very special person with a very special family. I loved the smile she always had on her face. May your Mom & Dad cruise through Heaven hand in hand.
