My condolences to my Doyle, Gaines, and Johnson family. Aunt Lane was such a sweet person, with a beautiful smile and always a kind and encouraging word for you. She will be missed dearly. Sonia and Trevor...the Lord is her sheppard, and she has no wants. She is with her sheppard our savior Jesus Christ. Stay strong during this trying times. Love you all!

Aunt Laine will be missed. With heavy hearts, tears, and sadness we express our Condolences. A branch has fallen from our family tree. It wasn't withered or rotten and yet it's gone. Thank God for memories. I will remember her reminding me and calling me her "Namesake or Sherrie Lerrie" with a smile in her voice. She supported and gave great advice. Aunt Laine was Beautiful inside and out. I loved her laugh and the way she said, "OMGoodness" was music. So many good memories. Thank you God for the time we had with her. Aunt Laine was joy, love, fun, and laughter to our family. She was "Extra" in the best way. Our family hurt in the flesh, but we rejoice in the spirit. She can now rest in peace. Gone but never forgotten. AUNT LAINE IS BLESSED, BETTER THAN BLESSED, PRAISE THE LORD.....with tears, your niece and nephew....

Nobody can understand how hard a separation is, than when one of our prized jewels leaves us. You search for it and it cannot be found, you ask for her and she does not hear you, you wait and she is not coming. It remains only the eternal memory in our hearts of Laine. I met Ms. Johnson years ago when she worked a Summer Camp at Felix Pinckney Center. My daughter was one of the campers. She showed love, patience and compassion not only to the campers but to the parents also. Whenever we saw her she always greeted us with a smile, always concerned about my daughter (Ne'Toshia). I am thankful God allowed her to impact my child's life. Prayers to this family.

Mrs. Doyle you will truly be missed. May God continue to strengthen your family and friends. My Hearst is saddened by the loss,but I can her your soft spoken voice saying ,Tonya I'm alright. Love you!

The work of a sunday school teacher lies in the highest rank of educational work. Thank you for teaching me,my children,and most of all my husband knowledge of the bible ,life, and how to give God your Best praise. You were one of the first members he introduced me to because you played such an important role in his past and future. You will be missed but the knowledge you shared will live on. Aunt Laine you will truly be missed. I'm thankful that I did get a chance to sit and talk with you and see your wonderful smile. I wish that you could of seen my wife and daughter before you left but I know you see them now looking on us from Heaven. My condolences to my Doyle, Gaines, and Johnson family. We are connected in so many ways (literally) and our love for each other has always been constant. May the grace of God and Savior be with us all as well accept what our God has done. In all that we do let us remember Jeremiah 29:11 "..For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord.....". Continue to look to hills from where our help comes from. We are sadden however heaven is rejoicing!

Our hearts grieve with you doing this moment of sad history in your family. But there is one thing that I am certain of is that the Gaines family love the Lord. There are not too many families where almost the entire family worship the Lord. Laine is in here bye and bye, her morning has come, and all the saints of God are gathered home to hear her tell her story....and today she is understanding it better.
