Scott Longfield Obituary

Scott Patrick Longfield Mt. Pleasant - Scott Patrick Longfield, 55, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 17, 2021 after his long struggle with kidney failure. His memorial service will be held at a later date at Mepkin Abbey. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Scott was born September 27, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Kansas and the San Diego Golf Academy. He became a PGA teacher and club professional at several golf clubs in the Chicago area and in Arizona before retiring to Charleston, South Carolina. He was an avid Jayhawks fan and enjoyed golfing with his many friends and family. He is survived by his parents, William H. Longfield and Nancy Shofstall Longfield of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, William Longfield (Susan) of Milford, MI; and two nephews, William R. Longfield (Maddie) of Weston, CT and Mitchell D. Longfield of Wixom, MI.
