Mrs.Schwartz was a phenomenal woman and I miss her so much. I was a former employee and we bonded from day one. I miss seeing her beautiful face and that smile that lit up a room. She was a true inspiration and always made time to listen to me and gave great advice like a mother would. She will always be in my heart. When I´m asked who made a great impact in my life, I always speak highly of her. This hurts to even write this because I miss her so much.

I had the privilege and chance to meet Sandra in 2010 while my son was at CofC. Sandra was an angel in helping him settle and introduced him to some real nice
people there. As a matter of fact when I visited my son she was a wonderful hostess while I was staying at her house for a few days. I used to bring bagels in the morning and we had great breakfast while taking about life. I kept in touch with Sandra for many years until she moved to Ga then totally lost touch. I went nuts in trying to contact people that might have known her to no avail. It made me very sad and upset not to be able to speak to her and hear her wonderful cheery voice. Just today again I was trying to connect and stumbled across this notice! Sandra you will be missed. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity.

I will miss my friend who always was the epitome of a lady. Always with a smile and a friendly word. She was the first person to welcome me to Somerby and made me feel right at home.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Sandra. She was a loyal member of our Monday morning discussion group called Talking Heads for many years. When Sandra spoke, she spoke from the heart and people listened, whether they agreed or not. She was a kind, thoughtful and wonderfully positive person. She was one of a kind and we will deeply feel her absence.

I met Mrs. Schwartz years ago when I worked as her nurse assistant and the moment we met, I thought what a beautiful woman she was! Mr.& Mrs. Schwartz treated me like family from day one. She encouraged me to keep pursuing my dreams in nursing. Mrs. Schwartz and I shared a bond like no other and it pains me deeply that we did not keep in contact after she moved to Atlanta. I'll always cherish her memories and remember that beautiful smile. She was a sharp dresser, loved her makeup and just being beautiful like she was. I'll miss you Mrs. Schwartz! You were more than my patient, you became like a second mother, best friend and mentor. I'll love you always sweet Angel.

I grew up with Jill and Melissa and Jeremy. Sandy was a beautiful lady inside and out. And a gracious host for all the times I spent the night at their house with my great friend Jill in Dayton Ohio. I have such fond memories of her. Now she will be reunited with my mother, her friend so long ago!! It´s a sad day for me, today, on my moms birthday in heaven! Condolences to the entire family!

TRULY SORRY TO LEARN OF MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND'S DEATH. SANDRA AND I BECAME FRIENDS WHEN WE BOTH LIVED IN CHARLESTON AND CONTINUED OUR FRIENDSHIP FOR LIFE NO MATTER WHERE WE LIVED[ CHARLESTON ,IN OHIO -ME IN CHARLOTTE AND SHE IN ATLANTA] I HAVE TO SMILE WHEN I THINK OF US TOGETHER--SANDRA NEVER HAD A HAIR OUT OF PLACE AND ME--WHO LOOKED LIKE I HAD NOT COMBED MY HAIR IN A MONTH! OBVIOUSLY, OUR FRIENDSHIP WAS NOT BASED ON SUPERFICIAL APPEARANCES--BUT RATHER ON RESPECT AND AFFECTION, I WILL MISS OUR FRIENDSHIP [ VIA FACEBOOK
IN OUR SENIOR YEARS] BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS ELEGANT LADY, SENDING LOVE AND PRAYERS FOR G-OD'S BLESSINGS AND CONSOLATION TO THE FAMILY, MAY HER MEMORY BE A BLESSING TO ALL.

Sandra was a delight to all of us fortunate to live and work with her at Somerby. She took her role as "Ambassador" seriously as she offered both hospitality and sage advice. I never saw Sandra when she was not impeccably dressed with hair coiffed! Even as she fought back from her latest illness, she was determined to walk on her own legs. Sandra was an inspiration to me, and I shall never forget her.

Sandra was truly a bright light and she is already missed. I had the pleasure of getting to know her these past couple years at Somerby. She allowed me to be creative in finding ways to keep her as independent as possible and she was always so appreciative. Yes, she was my client, but she was most definitely a friend. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, with such style and elegance. I can hear her voice "I love you dahling". I'm glad that we were able to say those words to each other. Big hugs to Melissa and the rest of the family...she loved you all and was so very proud of all of you!
