Dana,
Samuel has gone to a place where there is if nothing else, no more pain. You have done an outstanding job making sure he was taken care of around the clock.
I remember when we (Mott, Terri and I)would sneak on the plum tree, and one of us would watch to see when Samuel's truck came down the road. Once his truck was spotted we would run home. I'm sure he knew the three little bodies running out of his yard was Mott, Terri and I. We actually thought (as kids do)we were getting away with sneaking on Agnes' tree.
I know he will be missed, and I have chosen to celebrate his life. That memory alone makes me smile.
I love you,
Shawn
