Let me say how saddened I was to hear of Ryan's Passing.You have been in my Prayers for a long time. I just heard today. I am sorry I have not been able to help you and the girls. I wish to share with you a poem that was given to me when my son Steven passed away. It is called the Broken Chain.
We Little Knew that morning that God was going to call you name.
I Life we loved you Dearly.
In Death We Do the Same.
It broke our Hearts to lose you. you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your Love is Still our Guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.

We remember Ryan and you, Peggy and children, from our stay at Charleston, SC, from august 1982 till august 1984 and our membership of RBC.

Dear Dawn, it's me Frank Volckaert from Belgium. I don't know if you remeber me. I was in Charleston in 1983 visiting my Belgium friends the family Smagghe. It's a miracle but just today, (29/7) 24 years later, I was searching on the internet for your name and I found the in memoriam of your dad Ryan. I'm so sorry to read that, I can't explain it in English but know you are in my prayers also your mom and sisters. I want to ask and tell you so much more but that is not apropriate right now. Dear Peggy:
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy over your loss. Ryan was such a good man. I loved the fact that he was always so kind to my mother. She thought the world of him and spoke glowingly of him. I am forever grateful for his thoughfulness toward her.
As I think of you today, my mind returns to our chilhood in Hanahan and growing up with your sisters and brother and with your mom and dad at home and at church. We had wonderful times together.
