Russell "Randy" Randolph Scott Summerville - Russell "Randy" Randolph Scott, 69, of Summerville, SC, husband of Amanda Abdon Scott, passed away Saturday evening, December 5, 2015 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the First Church of God, 10383 Highway 78, Summerville, SC at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Summerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Parks Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5 - 7 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Mr. Scott was born on March 16, 1946 in Summerville, SC, a son of the late Russell Scott and the late Margaret Gleaton Scott. He was the owner of Scotts Exterminating for 35 years. Randy was a Dorchester County Council member for 8 years and was a Senator for South Carolina for 4 years. He was also a member of the First Church of God. He was a licensed auctioneer, a Shriner, Mason and member of Toastmasters. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Amanda Scott of Summerville; two daughters, Lisa S. (Mickey) Morman of LaGrange, GA, Ronda (Wayne) Scott-Clifton of Moncks Corner, SC; two granddaughters, Courtney (Steven) Boggus and Haley Johnson, all of LaGrange, GA; one great-grandson, Caden Boggus; three sisters, Susie (Al) Bailey, Betty (Simeon) Abdon, Beverly Driggers, all of Summerville; and many nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, Mary Londergan, Barbara Scott, Maralese Reddick, and by three brothers, Wilfred Scott, Emmett Scott and J.T. Scott.
