Royce Williams Obituary

Royce Wayne Williams WHITE, GA - Royce Wayne Williams, 65, of White, GA, died peacefully with his family by his side on March 23, 2018, ending his courageous six-year battle with Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST). Royce was born June 20, 1952, in Clarkson, KY. He graduated from Clarkson High School in 1971 and earned a degree in business from the University of Kentucky system in 1976. He served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4th Class from 1972-1974. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Sharpshooter M16 Medal. He worked as a General Manager and Dealer Principle of various automobile dealerships in Charleston, SC, where he resided for 25 years. He was a member of the National Auto Dealers Association and the South Carolina Auto Dealers Association. Royce believed in living life to its fullest, and he brought love and laughter to everyone he met. He is survived by his spouse, Donna, ne;e Collard, of White, GA; and daughter, Brittany Danielle Williams (Matthew Simon) of Los Angeles, CA. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. CDT at the Clarkson Community Center, 213 Millerstown St., Clarkson, KY 42726. Interment to follow at Antioch General Baptist Church Cemetery, 7915 Peonia Road, Clarkson, KY, at 1:00 p.m. CDT.
