Bryan and Family,

Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I remember Ron from Santee Cooper bring such a nice pleasant man. A pleasure to talk with and be around.

I want to honor the memory of a true Southern gentleman, Mr. Ron. Ron was a family friend for many years as well as a trusted co-worker and farming partner. His friendship was cherished by our family for more than 60 years. Our lives have been intertwined with the "Holmes Farm" for generations, and during that time, we shared far more than work.
He was the kind of man whose word meant everything, whose handshake carried the weight of sincerity, and whose kindness was felt by everyone who had the privilege to know him. He lived by values that seem rarer with each passing year such as humility, respect, and a genuine love for the people around him.
Our family will forever be grateful for the bond we built while working Ron and Joe´s family farm. The memories made on the "Holmes Farm" - planting, harvesting, problem-solving, and simply sharing life, will stay with us always. His legacy lives on in the friendships he cultivated, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
Rest easy, my friend. You will always be part of our family´s story.

My deepest condolences for Mrs. Holmes and the family. Working with him at Santee Cooperwas a beautiful experience. He's always so nice and kind. Always had a pleasant words to say. Know that God will give you peace. Joy and comfort in your time of need. God's blessings upon you and your family.

I have so many memories of him while working under his leadership. They will never be forgotten.

I´ll never forget that he took the time to come to my retirement celebration.

Ron was a wonderful example of what a husband, father and grandfather should be. He will be greatly missed.

If you have ever met a true gentleman, then you knew Ron. He brought out the very best in all around him and my family is far better off knowing him.
Thank you Ron for being the best partner for my sister and a real pleasure learning from your example.

I worked at Santee Cooper and was blessed to be part of the Santee Cooper family. It was an honor to know Ron and work with him. He was a true Southern gentleman, admired and respected by all. My prayers are with the Holmes family, may the memories bring peace and may God comfort you all.

Ron narrated several cantatas for us @ church.

Ron Holmes was one of the good guys of Kilo Company at The Citadel. He was my Platoon Sergeant my plebe year and he was always kind and a person all my classmates admired. As an officer his senior year, he set a high example for us all. I am saddened to learn of his passing but he has been truly promoted to Glory.

My sincere condolences are extended to Brian and the entire family. Ron has always held a special place in my heart because he was so genuine. As an employee of Santee Cooper, he not only took a sincere interest in how you were doing but also your family. He made you feel valued.

I believe Ron is in the mansion comforted by the fact that he left a legacy of kindness.
