Roger was one of the nicest guys I've ever known. He had a great sense of humor and everyone liked him. We shared stories about our time in the Air Force and Southeast Asia service. Roger was on our Legend Oaks Interclub team and I called him our Cheerleader - always ready to play and always with a positive attitude. We watched him and prayed for him as he handled numerous physical diversities over the last several years - but he never complained, even towards the end when he had to have oxygen to make it around the golf course. I prayed so hard for his recovery from this last setback and when he was in recovery, but it was not God's will to heal Roger. Roger was a good friend, interesting man, avid golfer, and one of the nicest guys I've ever know. He will be TRULY missed and remembered. (Apologize that I will not be able to make the memorial service). Best wishes to Roger's family. God Bless...
