I met Robin through our mutual friend Fred Preaus, and visited with him when I was in Paris. Oh what a cad- seated at that kitchen table with ashtray and cigarette in hand alongside a cofffee, or a drink.
A Renaissance man. He befriended the famous and the infamous alike. He was adored by many.

Some of my fondest childhood memories include Robin and our adventures growing up in our small southern town and attending our tiny local school. Though our paths led us in very different dirrections after high school, we kept in touch from time to time. He was a true friend. I shall miss him.
