Robert Mitchum Obituary

Robert Allan Mitchum GASTON, SC - A memorial service for Robert Allan Mitchum, 38, of Gaston, will be held, at 6 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2009, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Missionary Roland Mitchum. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Mr. Mitchum was born in Lexington and was the son of Woodrow T. Mitchum and the late Deborah W. Miller. Surviving in addition to his father, Woodrow T. Mitchum of Newnan, GA; daughters, Ashley Jeffcoat of Lexington, Katelyn Buckner of Newnan, GA, Casey Mitchum and Skylar Mitchum both of Lexington; sister, Crystal G. Mitchum of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Tony Mitchum of Pelion, Shawn Mitchum of Gaston and Stephen Mitchum of Edmond. Thanks so much to everyone for everything! Robert you helped raise me and helped me to become who I am today! Words could never explain the love I have for you. I miss you so bad! I promise though Robert to forever hold onto the good times that we had through out my life and to forever take care of my baby sisters. We all love and miss you so much!!! I enjoyed Roberts humor,smile and laughter that we share especially this year as we rode down Hwy 321 on our motorcycles, and I really really was glad to see him in church on many many Sunday morinings and nites as we shared some of lifes journey that we were going through.
