Richard M. Ruth, Sr. MT. PLEASANT - Richard M. Ruth, Sr. 82 (former owner of Richard's Bar & Grill in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. He lived his life on his terms and to the fullest. We will miss his stories and I love you's. He was a right fighter and his generosity ran deep. He would give you the shirt off his back and ask for nothing in return. His legacy continues with his sons, Richard M. Ruth, Jr. (Barbara Goodyear), Todd Ruth (Patty Ruth), Glenn Ruth (Syleria Ruth) and daughters, Laurie Causey (Bobby Causey), Ginger George (Dave George). He has 11 grandchildren and 8 precious great-grand babies. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the animal charity of your choice in his honor, he adored his animals and leaves behind 3 spoiled dogs, Jack, Jill & Pepper that are missing him terribly.
