Rhodes "Sammy" Rogers
Summerville - Rhodes "Sammy" Rogers, Sr., 96, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Relatives and friends of Sammy Rogers are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. The burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday. Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts may be directed to Meals on Wheels of Summerville or the American Cancer Society.
Sammy was born in Honey Hill, South Carolina, on April 7, 1929. He was the son of Samuel and Mary Bell Rogers. He proudly worked for Whitestack Towing for 34 years and loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
He is survived by three children, Shirley Hinson of Summerville, Glenda Rogers of Goose Creek and Rhodes (Rocky) Rogers, Jr. (Lanora) of Moncks Corner; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grands and a beloved sister-in-law, Linda Miller Bradley of Arizona.
