Margaret,

We are missing Reed so very much. There are many memories of him in so much that we do. Recently, when we were on top of Mt. LeConte and stargazing, I couldn't help but remember Reed and how he loved to stargaze and use his telescope and remembering the telescope he made!!! He was truly a unique individual and will continue to be missed by us all. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

We love you,

Carol and Larry Zeleznik

Dear Margaret,

I am Bob and Norma's younger daughter. I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I was especially thankful that you and Reed were able to come to my parent's 50th anniversary, and I was so happy to meet you both. My dad has always talked highly of Reed, and both of my parents have loved getting your wonderful e-mails. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Margaret, I met you years ago at your parent's home in the Morningside area of Atlanta. Al had known your parents in Jacksonville and I am a friend/classmate of Reed from Alma. I know he will be missed and Al and I send our condolences.

Dear Margaret,

Norma and I will always have fond memories of the very pleasant visits we had with you and Reed. In my lifetime, I have known just a few really good men. Reed was one of the very special ones. We had planned to attend the funeral but circunstances prevented us making the trip. Love and blessings to you and your family. Please keep us on your E-mail list.

Margaret,we all had great repect for Reed not only as human being but as an engineer and manager. Reed was very important to the success of GE. I've been called by people who recalled their relationship with Reed and wanted to share them with someone. He has left a lot of memories with us. Margaret, you are in Dorothy and my prayers at this time.

Dear Margaret, you and Reed have been in our prayers, especially the last two weeks.

We enjoyed our visits with you, your children and grandchildren. The visits were special ones. We enjoyed the personalities, talents, warmth and love you all shared with each other and us. You and Reed were quite a team, and your family the outcome of your team efforts. Thank you for inviting us to share the time.

Know that we are a short walk away and welcome a visit anytime. Just walk in. Sometime we do not hear the bell.

Dear Margaret,

We are so saddened to hear of Reed's death. He was a wonderful gentleman, an outstanding engineer, and a good friend. We always enjoyed associating with you and Reed at IAS conferences. One of our fellow engineers commented about Reed yesterday, "When Reed spoke up, he always spoke quietly, but everybody listened." That summarizes Reed very well.

I'm honored to have known Reed and worked with him. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.

Margaret,

To my knowledge we never met! However, may I offer my condolences. As just one of many GE employees that knew Reed, may I offer that he earned and held my highest respect and admiration. While, I did not report to him, it was out of this respect and admiration that I supported him, his objectives, and his group as best I could.

Regards,

Sandy Godbey
