Rebecca Lee Lister Zozaya MT. PLEASANT - Rebecca Lee Lister Zozaya, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and formerly of Traer, Iowa, passed away at her home on May 29, 2024. Rebecca was born on December 30, 1957 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Jarold Lee Lister and the late Aileen (Scott) Lister. She grew up in Milo and Traer, Iowa graduating from North Tama High School in Traer. She earned her Associate's degree from Marshalltown Community College (Marshalltown, IA) and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, IA). Rebecca married Reinaldo Zozaya of Caracas, Venezuela on July 7, 1979. Rebecca was an elementary school and special education teacher in the Charleston County schools and retired from Midland Park Elementary School.
