Rebecca Middleton Obituary

To Sam, Joseph, Gus, Alex, Mary, Barbara & the Middleton Family,

Here is it almost three years later and I still miss Aunt Quenna's presence and I know you miss her. When I visit forty one, she is not there to go with me to purchase fresh okra from a neighbor. She is not there to ask me questions about my sons. She always wanted to know what was going on with them and their families. I have such fond memories of her. May the fond memories of her and the grace that God uses to cover you continue to heal your hearts. R.I.P. Aunt Quenna.

The Middleton Family,

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Quenna. She certainly exemplified all of what I considered an Aunt to be. She was always kind to me and had a pleasant spirit about her and it was no act, she meant it from the bottom of her heart. I will miss her and I know you will. Keep in mind the wonderful times that you had with her and the many years that you were blessed to have her. My prayers are with all of the family.

Another sweet "jewel" from the treasury in the 41 Community has gone from labor to reward and left a vacancy that no one can fill. Cousin 'Queena" who had a sweet smile, a soft voice, and a gentle spirit has gone where travelers go and do not return. She has crossed the separating line to that place where Christians go. After we have run this old race, there is a place where there is unspeakable joy and rest from our labor here on earth. We will certainly miss her sweet smile and helpful hands.
