Raymond "Spike" Nelson, Sr. N. CHARLESTON - The relatives and friends of Mr. Raymond "Spike" Nelson, Sr. are invited to attend his Funeral Services 12 noon, Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Royal Baptist Church, 4761 Luella Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Burial, Monrovia Cemetery, Charleston, SC. Wake Service will be held this evening, 7 pm. at Cannon Street Baptist Church, 46 Cannon St., Charleston, SC. Mr. Nelson is the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Nelson; father of Raymond Nelson (Gloria), Joan Nelson, the late Sonya "Chubby" Nelson McIver, Lavar Brown, Lisa Nelson-Mazyck (Derek), Derrick Nelson (Candace), Gary Nelson, Stanley Nelson, Ronald Nelson, Lavonna Snyder and Monique Crossin; brother of Frank Nelson (Jennie), Graylin Nelson (Eleanor), Floyd Nelson, Minister Otis Nelson (Pastor Nathalee), Anthonette Ward (Anthony). There are also 33 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.murraysmortuary.com. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the Nelson Family I met Mr. Raymond as an employee of Walmart he was a dear friend I will forever remember him.
