Randall was born in Rockford, Illinois, son of the late Blaine Edward Auker and Helen Wallace Auker. He was a graduate of Byron High School in Byron, Illinois, where he grew up. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration and was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. He worked as a financial advisor with several different investment firms throughout the years, where he was awarded acclaimed travel trips to various places around the world, which he shared with his family. He had a deep love and relationship with the Lord and was Chrismated into the Holy Orthodox Church in April 2017 and loved to study various philosophies and theologies. He loved listening to The Beatles, James Taylor and the group Chicago. Randy will be remembered for his love of teaching, educating, reading, golfing, playing cards, and learning as much as possible about WWII history, and mostly for the way he loved God and his family. He is survived by his wife, Rebekah; his son, Nathan Randall Auker (fiance; Lisa Tran), Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kristen Lesley Auker-Bruscato (Tom Bruscato), Rockford, IL; son, Jason Bradley Auker, Chicago, IL; stepson, Alexander Gaspar (Leah Gaspar), Madison, WI; and stepson, Anthony Gaspar, Notre Dame, South Bend, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. There are three granddaughters, Kayla, Anastasia, and Natalia Bruscato whom he deeply loved and adored; a brother, Bradley Auker (Ann Auker), Byron, IL; and a sister, Lori Auker-Goldsmith (Steve Goldsmith), San Francisco, CA. He is preceded in death by Janelle Fadness-Auker, mother of his three children. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the angels of mercy who cared for Randy with Promedica Hospice: Cheri, Sandy, Linda, Michael, Patrick, and Kevin. Memorials may be made to either the Iconography Fundraiser at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church or to the Dementia Society of America."
