Phylis Dixon Obituary

Phylis Dixon Ladson - Phylis Mae Nelson Dixon, 84, of Ladson, widow of John Lee Dixon, passed away Wednesday morning July 11, 2018. The visitation will be Monday July 16, 2018 from 10 until 12 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home. The graveside funeral service will follow at 1 o'clock at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner. Flowers will be accepted. Phylis was born on Friday August 11, 1933, in Burke, South Dakota, a daughter of the late Arthur P. Nelson and Vernice E. Norberg Nelson. Phylis enjoyed shopping at the Second Chance Store. She was member of the local chapter of the AARP and VFW. Phylis is survived by two sons, John Emit Dixon and his wife Paula of Atlanta, GA and Ronald Marvin Dixon and his wife Mona of Tampa, FL; one daughter Dianna Honour and her husband David of Ladson; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
