Philip Hammond Obituary

I am saddened always by seeing this notice of another anniversary of Philip´s passing but I am more and more gladdened with my memories of him.

Still can´t believe Philip is gone. I have so many memories of him from TSA when my son Alex & all the boys were friends & played sports with Philip. RIP young man. Nancy Ray

Philip - seems just yesterday you and the other TSA kids were 6 years old and now it's 3 years since you've been gone. Alex and I talk of TSA days often and you are always a part of the conversation. You will never be forgotten Philip. Hugs & Love to your family.

A prayer goes up today for Philip. He will always stay in our memories of happy times. His wit and charm and wonderful smile are not forgotten.

May God continue to bless you all on this sad anniversary. I think often of all the little guys at TSA and friendships the parents made along with the the kids. RIP young man. ❤❤

My heart aches when I think of Philips passing. The youngsters at TSA were very close and my son Alex spent a good deal of time with Philip and the others. Many prayers for the family. ❤

Michael and I have been remembering fondly the days we carpooled to Thomas Sumter with Bess and Phillip . Michael would ask Philip every am if he had a present for him and Philip would always reply with that grin of his , "Not today , Mr. Clarke!" One day , Philip greeted him with "Today's the day, Mr. Clarke!" And gave him a gift . We both don't remember the gift itself but we do remember how attached we felt to Philip and Bess and Carolyn . Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. His kindness, intelligence, and character were a blessing to those who knew and worked with him.

It seems like just yesterday that Philip was at TSA playing soccer and basketball with Alex, Josh and the rest. Even though Philip left for TN in high school, those memories of the boys growing up laughing, learning and playing at TSA will always remain. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult of times. There are really no words. God Bless...
