I wish Heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. You're always in my mind. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture of you. Your memory is a keepsake from which I'll never part. GOD has you in his arm. I have you in my heart.

Jenni,
I wish I could fully express (without bringing us both to tears -again - oops, too late...dang), how huge a loss this is. (Even "huge" sounds somehow trite & ineffectual now.) Pete was my "Buddy Next Door", my confidant, my counselor, my advisor, my protector, my critic, my fellow foodie, my fellow cynic & my friend. From the very day 10 yrs ago when I moved 2 doors down, he looked out for me. You have no idea how much I miss him. Sugah, I had no idea how much I'd miss him! Good thing I prayed for strength, Child. Just know that if I can EVER do anything for the "the daughter", holla, Girl, cos you were the most important thing on the planet to him & he was one of the most important to me. I'll keep praying; God listens to me cos I make Him laugh.
