Peter Cevallos Obituary

Peter Cevallos, Sr. BEAUFORT, SC - Peter P. Cevallos, Sr., 91, widower of Maria Carrera Cevallos, died Friday, November 8, 2024, at his residence with his family at his side. Mr. Cevallos was born on June 29, 1933, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, son of the late Nestor Cevallos and the late Carmen Castro. Peter worked in the magazine and books industry as a distribution representative for over 40 years. He also was heavily involved with youth soccer in Columbia, SC, in the 70's and 80's, at the time when it was just being introduced in the U.S. He was instrumental in coaching and mentoring Midland's youth in the burgeoning sport. He is survived by his one daughter, Monica Cevallos-Fulcher; one son, Peter P. Cevallos, Jr.; one brother, Manuel (Ramon) Mosquera; one sister, Josefina (Pepa') Cevallos; two grandchildren, Stephen Cevallos, and Madison Moravcik Cevallos; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL). Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
