Dearest Kathy. La Donna and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Paul's passing upon our return from CA. We have thought of you often but lost rack when you moved. Nothing but fond memories of our short stint together at B&V, parties, MVEA, and just some real good times. What a wonderful family you have. The pictures are great. We have moved into a retirement complex as of Jan 8, 2017 and love it. We would like to get caught up on family and friends if you have a chance to call. We can only imagine the loneliness as he loved you so much.

Dearest Kathy. La Donna and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Paul's passing when we returned from CA. Nothing but fond memories of you two from our short stint at B&V, the parties, MVEA, and just being with nice people. We lost track of you when you left town but think of you often. We would love to talk with you and get up to date on children, grandchildren and maybe great-grandchildren. We have moved (Jan 8, 2017) into a retirement complex (91st and Wornall) and love it. We can only imagine how much the loss hurts because he loved you so much. Hope we make contact and know we are praying for you.

Dear Kathy and Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Paul's passing! I have such fond memories of all of you. Paul was so nice to me with a big caring smile. It seems like yesterday he was at my door asking if I could babysit his four adorable and well behaved children. Loved spending time with you kids! I'm sending healing prayers your way during this very difficult time.
Warmly,
Sheila from the hood

Mr. Bannister was a special man God put on this earth. How kind he was to me during grade school years. He quietly stepped in when my dad was too sick to go to basketball games. Bannister family: know that his passing is a loss shared by so many. God blessed you with a great dad, grand dad, and husband. Now we pray God's newest angel will continue to watch over you. Peace. Kathy, I have known Paul since our high school days at Rockhurst & he was a good guy who you could talk to easily. I hope you enjoyed the reunions & we are happy he made the effort to join us. Bonding since 1955 shows his love for Rockhurst and his many classmates and friends in Kansas City. He will be missed and we will pray for him in November when we have a Mass for our classmates who are deceased. God Bless Paul, you and your family.

Kathy and family, so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I remember when he came to Phi Kappa Theta, and one year we were roommates. Over the years we kept in touch in the Navy and later at B&V during the Black Fox project where I worked making frequent trips to KC from Tulsa. I lost track of you after moving to NY. Then after several years at Con Ed whereupon I found that he was doing a project for my company at the Arthur Kill power plant when I became the new Chief Mechanical Engineer.

I will always remember his integrity, devotion and engineering professionalism. I wish you the best of health.
Sincerely, John A. Basile

Kathy, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. You and Paul were always so welcoming and wonderful when we were in Charleston visiting Brian--to say nothing of the tremendous help you gave us after his death --something that will never be forgotten.
