Patricia Hunt Obituary

Patricia A. Hunt N. CHARLESTON - Patricia A. Hunt, 87, of North Charleston, SC, passed away at home April 13 after a long battle with COPD, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 9, 1937 in Deposit, NY, the daughter of Kimball and Grace Payne Thomson. She grew up in Walton, NY and was a graduate of Walton High School class of 1954. She was a loving and devoted Navy wife for years, raising five children and managing the household. She was actively involved in youth sports and community affairs in Hunley Park Naval Housing. In later years, she was employed in food services in Hunley Park and Dunston Elementary Schools. She is survived by her husband, Robert of more than 58 years, children, Monica Cerillo, Timothy Cerillo, Ellie Ippolito (Mark) and Valerie Webster, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and extended family. Her selfless generosity knew no bounds - always ready to help anyone in need. She donated regularly to various worthy charitable organizations. She will be missed more than words can express. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association in honor of her giving spirit.
