Oscar Lee Crosby Goose Creek - Oscar Lee Crosby, 82, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Rosa Griffon Crosby, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 19, 2016. His memorial service will be held at a later date. Oscar was born June 20, 1933 in Varnville, South Carolina, son of the late J. T. Crosby and the late Willie Pearl Strickland Crosby. He was formerly employed at Mead Westvaco and owned Crosby Construction Company. He was a member of Nazarene Church in Moncks Corner. Oscar was an avid sportsman and fisherman. In addition to his spouse, he is also survived by his children, Janice Martin (David) of Hinesville, GA, Oscar L. Crosby, Jr. (Debora) of Louisville, KY, Carla Ford of Midway, GA, Karen Crews (James) of Riceboro, GA; two step-daughters, Leona Mixson (Larry) of Columbia, SC and Sandy Mims (Robert) of Summerville, SC; step-son, Jaime Griffon of Winnsboro, SC; former spouse, Virginia Crosby of Richmond Hill, SC; three brothers, J.T. Crosby, Jr. (Jean) of Goose Creek, SC, Clyde Crosby of Summerville, SC, David Crosby (Gail) of Cross, SC; five sisters, Patricia Walker (Glenn) of Crockett, TX, Margie Crosby of Hanahan, SC, Myrtis White (George), Geneva Welch (Michael),Ollie Fowler, all of Beaufort, SC; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Newton, and a brother, Thomas Crosby.
