Ola Patton Obituary

PATTON, Ola Ola Gertrude Patton, 87, of Goose Creek, SC, faithful wife and widow of Rev. Roscoe Patton, Sr., died Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2006, at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at one o'clock. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Columbia, SC at four o'clock. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home Saturday evening from six until eight o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mrs. Patton was born October 4, 1918, in Columbia, a daughter of the late Heyward Hooper and Alverda Shelly Hooper. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Rev. Roscoe Ronnie Patton, Jr., of Goose Creek, SC; three grandchildren, Christine Lynn Watring of Rock Hill, SC, Ronnell Ola Galvan of Little Rock, AR, and Roscoe Patton III of Goose Creek, SC; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
