Nicholas Valcourt Obituary

Dear Michelle, Aiden and Pat,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I know Nick loved God, serving his country and most of all he loved you and was always very proud of his family. May God's love, grace and peace be with you always.

Dear Michelle and Aiden, It feels like it has been forever since I have seen you all and was deeply saddened for your loss of Nick. I hope you both always keep with you how much he loved and cherished you as he spoke so lovingly of you both and was so very greatful for God blessing him with you even while going through so much pain. Nick tought me a lot about standing up for what you believe in even when it seems everyone is against you because its the right thing to do as well as always taking the time to listen to a friend. He was a true man of his word and was very happy to have such a great family both close and extended. I was and am very proud to have served and supported him at the MLE Academy and will always miss that smile! He truly will be missed!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Nicks passing. I first met Nick when he was an instructor in Petaluma, Ca. While giving me a tour of the Boarding Team Member School, it was evident he was very proud of what he did for a living. He carried that enthusiasm with him to the MLEA. He was a fine instructor. Rest in peace shipmate.

To the Valcourt Family, Nick's Coast Guard family is deeply saddened by the news of his passing. Our prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

It was my pleasure to have known Nick. He was such a gentlemen! He loved Adian, so very much. It is such a shame that he has left this life at a young age.

We are so sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He was my Best Man at my wedding and was always there to listen whenever someone needed to talk or vent about life's challenges. Our thoughts and prayers are with Michelle, Aiden, and the rest of the Valcourt family.

Nick had such a positive impact on scores of boarding officers and team members when we served together at the Coast Guard Maritime Law Enforcement Academy.
