Natalie Durham Obituary

DURHAM, Natalie LAKE CITY - Mrs. Natalie G. Durham, 83, wife of James L. Durham, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Carolina Hospital System in Florence after an illness. She was a daughter of the late Ira C. and Lillie Mae McAllister Gaskins. Mrs. Durham was a retired cashier for Military base ranks and homemaker. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, WMU, and Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband, James L. (Jim) Durham of Lake City; one daughter, Nancy Jeanette Griffin of Beaufort; one sister, Thetis G. Lamb of Lake City; one grandson, Craig S. Griffin of Charlotte, NC; one granddaughter, Heather Leigh Harley of Beaufort; three great-granddaughters; two step-daughters, six step-sons, and 32 step-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, in the New Zion Baptist Church with burial at the Church Cemetery. The family will have a visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the funeral home. Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City is in charge. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
