Mildred Craven
Ladson - Mildred Brassell Craven, 92, of Ladson passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 2 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends for a visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, SC 2946. Flowers are accepted.
Mildred was born on November 19, 1933, in St. Stephen, South Carolina, to the late Jessie and Lillian Brassell. She devoted her life to caring for her home and family and shared her talents as a skilled seamstress. Mildred will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Mildred is survived by her son, Timothy J. Craven of Ladson, SC; daughters, Ginger Craven Humphries of Greenwood, SC, Gloria Craven Studer of Wasington, Sherry Craven Driggers of Ladson, SC; sisters, Lillian Ard of Greeleyville, Sc, Nell Millett of Port St. Lucie, FL; along with 5 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Jessie and Lillian Brassell; and grandchildren, Angela Craven Morris, Timothy Jesse Craven, Jr.
