Michele Sigal
Charleston - Michele Sigal, 67, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Barry Sigal, died Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Her service will be held at Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Synagogue at 60 Hasell Street in Charleston, at 10:00am Sunday, December 28. Interment will follow at the Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Cemetery on Huguenin Avenue. The Family and Friends will sit Shiva at Barry's Home Sunday and Monday evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. A short service will take place at 7:00pm both nights. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Michele was born November 6, 1958, in Lucedale, Mississippi, daughter of Bobby Dean Wilkins and Jeanette Copeland Wilkins. She was awarded her BSN at the Medical College of Georgia graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in multiple capacities during her career. She was an active member of Temple Emanuel in Winston Salem, NC. She was a member of the Sisterhood, where she served as President, volunteered at the Temple Emanuel Preschool and served on multiple committees at Temple Emanuel and found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years. Mother of Ryan (Price) and Leah. Sister to Sherri (Alton) Brown and Grandmother to Copeland, Sumner and Wilson Sigal.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association: Walk to End Alzheimer's, and Respite Care of Charleston.
