Whenever Uncle Mike came to town, it was sure to be a special occasion. Uncle Mike's presence made a wedding or a wake a celebration of life.
Any family gathering he attended was a lasting memory. His legacy will be his contageous smile and his love for family.
Thank you John Michael, as well as Matt, Chris, and Kathy for sharing him with us.
Our love and prayers go out to you.
Forever,
The Lenzi Family

Dear Petullo Family ~
It's been over 30 years since Mr. Petullo was my counselor, yet I've thought of him countless times over the years. I was one of those students, who despised school with a passion, and he worked diligently to motivate me, and keep me on track, and he NEVER gave up!
In the mid 80's, I made a trip back to Clayton Valley, hoping to see him, only to learn he had recently retired. I was so sorry I missed him.
I will never forget the kindness he showed me, nor will my sister, who was 7 yrs ahead of me.
I remember him moving through the halls with lightning speed, but when you were in his office, he LISTENED as if you were the most important person in his world. He was by far, the kindest, most gentle, sweet spirited man, I have ever met, and I also know, he was the most loved and respected part of the CVHS administration.
He worked tirelessly for ALL of us, and I was fortunate to have known him, and to have him as my counselor.
I am so sorry for your loss, but hope you take comfort in knowing, he made a huge impact in many lives.
Bless you all......

How sad we are to learn of Mike Petullo's death. He was a wonderful counselor to all three of our children at Clayton Valley High School. We thought so highly of him as well as Alice. He contributed so much to young people and his kindness will never be forgotten.

I was sorry to learn at St. Paul's this morning of Mike's passing. He was a friend of ours dating back to our St. Michael's days in Concord. It was a joy to find him at St. Paul's where we renewed our friendship. I will miss him so much. I regret that I will not be able to attend his memorial service since I will be in Los Angeles. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
