I REMEMBER BACK WHEN YOU ASKED "HOW ARE WE RELATED? :) AND I TOLD YOU THIS AND YOU WENT AND ASKED YOUR DAD AND HE TOLD YOU THE SAME... MAN DID WE HAVE A GOOD LAUGH... Michael will be missed in the flesh but his kindness and his smile will always remain in my memories of him.

A beautifully written obituary for a wonderful soul. He certainly never forgot a voice. I remember celebrating Thanksgiving at Aunt Georgie's house a couple of years ago, and it was my first time seeing my cousin since he lost his sight. I greeted him and joked that he probably didn't remember who I was. He replied, "Oh yes, I do! You're Thomas and Thelma's daughter." I laughed and teased that he must have had someone tell him in advance.
Michael´s infectious smile and warm personality were gifts to us all, and I will miss him dearly. While I have many clergy members in my family, Michael was the first person who came to mind when we bought our home. He graciously offered to bless our house over the phone, without a moment´s hesitation, and it meant the world to me.
Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, the spirit and memories of Michael will forever remain in our hearts.
