Michael Badgley Obituary

Michael Glen Badgley, 56, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Tuesday at the Lowcountry Hospice House. Born August 4, 1969, in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of Glen James Badgley and Betty Sue Adkins Badgley.

Michael was a dedicated roofer who took pride in his work and brought his strong work ethic to every job. Known for his warm personality and love of life, he enjoyed spending time cooking with friends and family, listening to rock & roll and classic rock music, and watching movies. Westerns held a special place in his heart, especially the long-running series Gunsmoke.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his beloved niece, Susan Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nancy Prine; two sons, Michael Badgley and his wife, Destiny, of Kingstree, and Michael Atkinson and his wife, Crystal, of Charleston; two sisters, Kristi H. Valis of Cross, and Brenda Jackson of Summerville; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Michael Glenn Easterling are currently incomplete. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 W. Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (843-761-8027) to assist with his funeral expenses.

Michael will be remembered for his kindness, love for those around him, and the joy he brought to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
